Frequently Asked Questions about Greg Mat+
1. How does Greg Mat+ work?
You pay $5 a month and get access to all live classes per week (from a list of 8-15). Access means you actually participate in the class. You can also watch the recordings of ALL classes in the recorded video section of the member page.
2. $5 seems too cheap. Is this a scam?
No, I’m just trying to offer affordable test prep. Hopefully it scales. I suppose if it doesn’t, that’s okay too. It’ll just continue to be a side project for me and not really about earning a living or anything like that.
3. Why a subscription model?
Most test prep companies offer a one-time fee, a one-and-done deal, but I was hoping to have more of an interaction with the students of Greg Mat+. I want them to have a say in what content is being offered each month. I want them to feel that the program is dynamic. The subscription fee provides me with an incentive to keep releasing new content that caters to what you guys are asking for.
For example, with the subscription model, many of the current students are asking for grammar courses. They can be accommodated more easily with this model than with the one-time fee payment one. It just makes us more flexible.
4. Can I cancel?
Of course. You don’t need to do anything that annoying to cancel either. You can cancel directly from your account login page information thing that pops up when you visit www.gregmat.com.
5. I tried signing up for the subscription model with Stripe, but it didn’t work (probably because my credit card doesn’t allow for international payments).
If you have a PayPal account, you can pay for one month of Greg Mat+ at www.gregmat.com/services. It’s $10 rather than 5 because the payment is not recurring and it’s a little more record keeping on my end.
6. Can I safely give you my money?
Yes, all payment transactions are conducted through Stripe, PayPal, or Google Pay and we don't have access to complete billing information at any time.
7. Will this raise my GRE score guaranteed?
No. No guarantees or sure things in test prep land. Just too many variables. And I don’t want to lie to you. But we’ll try our best.
8. Does Greg Mat+ cover other tests besides GRE?
Yes, we like to talk about TOEFL, IELTS, and GMAT too. We also cover other topics like grammar.
