Announcement: Price Increase

Dear GregMat+ customers,

After seeking feedback from current GregMat+ subscribers, we have decided that our two services (GregMat+ and GregMat+ with PrepSwift) will see price increases on May 1st, 2024. Beginning on that day (midnight California time), for all existing and new customers, GregMat+ will cost $7.99 a month and GregMat+ with PrepSwift will cost $9.99 a month. Any purchases made in April (whether current or new customers) will still have the old rate for that month and then will see the price increase sometime in May.

I think we can all agree that price increases suck. Every time our Netflix subscription increases in price, it’s a little frustrating. And it seems like it’s happening more often. So we would like to take the time to explain our rationale for the price increases.

When we first launched GregMat+ in late 2019 and early 2020, customers paid $5 a month and had access only to live classes and recordings. There were no other features on the site: no vocab mountain, no study plans, no questions, no practice tests, no GregMat app, etc. We believe that we are providing much more value to our customers given the barebones nature of the service when it first launched and the number of resources available now. These additional features require additional time and cost to run and improve.

Also, the GregMat team is now bigger than ever. We have a team of amazing experts who are working hard and providing significant value to the platform. We want to pay these individuals a fair wage given the awesome content they are helping to create.

Finally, let us take this opportunity to send a heartfelt thank you to all Greg Mat+ subscribers, past, current, and future. This platform would not be possible without your support, input, and participation. Despite these price increases, we are staying true to our mission to provide high-quality test prep at an affordable price.
