Modules 1-5 Modules 6-10 Modules 11-12
Overview
Studying for the GRE can be an absolute slog, can't it? It's even worse when we have a full-time job, a family, or other commitments. This plan is designed for those of us who want to study for the GRE in bitesized, manageable chunks. No more gorging ourselves on the "daily" lessons of the one-month or two-month plan.
- Note: You must be subscribed to the PrepSwift add-on to take advantage of this plan. If you haven't already done so, you can do so on the Pricing page.
Structure
This study plan is divided into modules, not days. There is no recommended timeframe for how long it takes to complete one module or one part within a module. Feel free to go at your own pace.
Each module is divided into parts and concludes with an End of Module - Test What You've Learned section. We might even be adding additional resources within each module, so keep an eye out.
In the beginning of the plan, you'll notice that there is a strong emphasis on quant foundation building. You'll also be exposed to verbal and writing strategies and a healthy dose of vocabulary (the first 22 groups of the GregMat list). Don't worry about GRE material in these early stages. We promise that stuff will come later. The best way to get a high score on the GRE is to build a really strong quant foundation and then move onto strategies and questions once you have done so. For verbal, the best thing you can do right now is start memorizing vocabulary and learning the verbal strategies. Unlike quant, you can learn verbal foundation (vocabulary) and strategies simultaneously. The quant foundation is too robust to simultaneously learn strategies.
We hope you enjoy it. And we hope you don't feel as overwhelmed with your GRE prep.
P.S: while a bit out-of-flow, we need to tell this: If you need accomodations (such as extra time) and don't already have it, you need to start the process now, as it can take time to gather the documentation and for ETS to review it. This is all the more important if you don't already have a relevant diagnosis but suspect you have one (or if the documentation you have isn't in the right format), as you will in many cases need to be tested first. Please read this blog post to learn more about the process. You may wish to seek advice on forums.gregmat.com or on Reddit first (if it's highly confidental, you can email support@gregmat.com). Seriously: do it before you start the study plan. It will make you less overwhelmed and stressed, knowing that you have the support required to do your best on test day.
